We have built our lives in the sky. For the first time in human evolution, the modern metropolitan citizen lives, works and rests almost entirely detached from the ground. We ride glass-walled lifts, cross elevated concrete walkways and step onto polished indoor floors, our feet encased in thick synthetic soles. We are, quite literally, suspended in a synthetic canopy — insulated from the planet's natural electrical charge.

How Do You Safely Close the Electrical Loop Indoors?
